itoos M6HDT 4.3-Inch Player Also Supports PDF
When the Benss BX-57 F16 player was revealed to have PDF support, I reported, in an astounding lack of foresight, that PDF support was extremely rare on PMPs. Well, as life usually makes a fool out of he who blurts, I’m being humbled by the revelation that the itoos M6HDT player also supports PDF files. The irony is both appropriate and humiliating.
The M6HDT is a 4.3-inch player which uses, I suspect, the Sochip SC9800 chip as betrayed by the 1280p capability that is being advertised. (This is unlike the aforementioned Benss BX-57 F16 player which uses (again I suspect) the Boxchip F16 chip which is the Sochip SC8600 - an earlier iteration.) That means that video playback and battery efficiency are bound to be excellent on this player, just like other Sochip SC9800 players. MKV, AVI, VOB, WMV, ASF, MP4 and more make up the usual array of video file format support we’ve come to expect from PMP players today. The player is encased in an all-metal die-cast housing which, I must say, looks pretty swell.
All in all this will be a powerful player thanks to its powerful chip. Oh, and now with PDF support! Look for this to become a trend.
